Established in 1993 Daylite Security Systems cc was predominantly a company which sub-contracted its expertise and services to most of the major security companies in South Africa.  The company is registered as a closed corporation and is represented by Neil Reid who is the sole member.

Daylite Security specializes in the manufacture and supply of all types of bullet resistant doors and windows, counter screening, shop-fronts, anti-hostage security cubicles and many other security products.  Daylite does not only handle glazing contracts but small turnkey contracts are most suitable to the company as it is very capable of handling all brickwork, plaster work, roofing, ceilings, electrical, plumbing work, etc.

The factory is situated in Edenvale, Gauteng and is used as the base from which all doors and windows are manufactured and also to pre-prepare all glazing installations prior to being shipped to site.  At the factory there is a fully equipped office and after hours work can be carried out at a fully established offsite office. The company currently runs three installation teams which comprise of a site supervisor, and experienced artisans suited to the client’s requirements.  Neil Reid personally oversees all site installations and carries out all site inspections before, during and after contracts.

Since inception turnkey installations, cash office protection and the rebuilding of cash offices which involve construction and building of pay offices at various companies, have been successfully carried out in many parts of Southern Africa.
